Reviews: High Capacity

One of the first things you realize when gaining weight is how much the furniture around us simply isn't built for non-standard body types. A perfect example: waiting rooms with questionable chairs. Even at home, finding sturdy everyday furniture is an endless struggle. Just when you think you've found the right fit, you often realize it was false advertising—the object breaks, or the weight limits are vague, stating 300 lbs here and 250 lbs there.

When you don't know if a very expensive piece of furniture—like an electric bed, an ergonomic office chair, or a sofa—is going to break, you feel constantly insecure. The articles below feature equipment that I have personally tested and use on a daily basis. It took hours of research and plenty of disappointments to finally find each one. I hope these reviews help you in your own searches or, at the very least, give you some starting points.
